The event was hosted at the Fraunhofer Institute booth and it was followed by a cocktail party.

The SRA is a plan to illustrate how European Industry and Research Organisations and the European Commission can work together to ensure we remain globally competitive, maintain our lead in technology and innovation, retain and grow investment and employment, fulfil Circular Economy objectives and meet societal challenges for a better tomorrow.

“The objective of the SRA is to clearly demonstrate the benefits of Plastics and Composites Research and Innovation for the European Union, and to seek under Horizon 2020 and the upcoming Framework programs greater recognition of the potential for Plastics and Composites innovation” emphasizes during the presentation Jan Diemert, Fraunhofer Institut for Chemical Technology.
